hurtling towards autumn

Definitely feeling the season of ‘mists and mellow fruitfulness’ approaching but how lovely is that ? With that in mind I thought I’d do some sketches inspired by a rather lovely bouquet given to me by some rather lovely friends . The oranges and yellows said ‘look at me’ and so I did and for the first time painted an abstract floral - well two . Can you see which flowers were in the bouquet ?
